By installing or using PayProof ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
PayProof is a review tool for Shopify merchants who accept manual payments (Instapay, bank transfer, cash on delivery, etc.) configured through Shopify's built-in Manual Payment Methods. PayProof itself does not process payments, move funds, or act as a payment gateway. Customers upload a proof-of-payment screenshot from the order's thank-you page, and the merchant reviews each screenshot and manually decides whether to mark the corresponding order as paid in Shopify.
You must have an active Shopify store and agree to Shopify's Terms of Service to use this app. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to bind your business to these terms.

You are solely responsible for verifying payment authenticity before confirming orders. PayProof provides tooling only — we do not verify that uploaded payment screenshots represent genuine transactions. You bear all risk related to accepting or rejecting payments.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your customers to process their data through the App.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or suitable for your specific use case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
